Activities and Curriculum
Our programs are based on each child’s social, intellectual, emotional, and physical developmental needs. Each child is assigned to his/her classroom, depending upon age and developmental level. All classrooms follow a common theme each week, but each classroom follows a specific curriculum that has been designed for each age group. Each classroom has the daily activities posted.

We believe our center's environment must be clean, safe, and well planned. Our teaching staff is responsible for ensuring this. Your child will feel safe and secure in our clean and comfortable classrooms. Our child-size furniture and equipment help your child develop self-reliance in taking care of his/her personal needs. Our center offers block play, housekeeping, dramatic play, reading, quiet play, science, art, and manipulative play for exploration and problem solving.
Lesson Plans
The teacher in each classroom will post weekly lesson plans that provide information on activities and the skills developed through these activities.
Daily Reports
Daily reports are provided for all infants and toddlers. This will inform you of your child's individual needs that occurred during their day at the Center.
Outdoor Play
Our playgrounds have been constructed for the total development of children. Your child will spend delightful hours engaged in climbing, sliding, and playing with others. Under the watchful supervision of our staff, your child will be safe, secure and happy with friends of the same age. Weather permitting, children will engage in outdoor play. Please make sure that your child has adequate outdoor clothing. Each room’s daily schedule includes a morning and afternoon outdoor play period. Children do not go outside if the temperature is above 100F or lower than 32F.
Water Activities
During the summer months, water activities are planned. The four year olds and school age children use the swimming pool on a daily basis. The toddlers and two year olds enjoy other water activities. Permission to participate in these activities is given in the enrollment sheet.
Criteria including chronological age, social and emotional development and self-care skills have been established for each classroom. When your child is ready for an older group, you will be notified as to when your child can be expected to change rooms.
